Dr. Lee Bass Nunn
Dr. Lee Nunn specializes in general and cosmetic dentistry with an emphasis on family care. She received her undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University, and graduated in 1995 from the North Carolina School of Dentistry. Dr. Nunn was awarded the Grover C. Hunter Award for Academic Excellence in Clinical Treatment of Periodontics and the The American Academy of Oral Medicine Award for proficiency and diagnosis of oral medicine. Dr. Nunn served as Secretary and President for the Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity and was awarded the Zane Eargle Award for outstanding Senior involvement.
Dr. Nunn is actively involved in both dental and community organizations. Dr. Nunn is a past President of the High Point Dental Society. Dr. Nunn is a member of The American Dental Academy, The Academy of General Dentistry, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the High Point Dental Society.
Dr. Nunn and her staff are committed to providing their patients with the highest quality and standards of care. Consequently, they routinely attend Continuing Education courses in an effort to stay abreast of all the newest advances in the field of dentistry. Dr. Nunn and her staff love developing long-lasting relationships with their patients and changing their smiles to improve their self-confidence and quality of life. In 2014 Dr. Nunn became Certified in Digital Dentistry with E4D Cad Cam Scanning System. Dr.Nunn is also a Certified Restoraspa Therapist, offering a “softer side of dentistry,” helping to reduce anxiety and bring about a state of relaxation during your restorative appointments.
Dr. Nunn is a second generation general dentist. Her father, Dr. Robert E. Bass, was in private practice for over 30 years. He is currently retired but occasionally returns to assist Dr. Nunn. Dr. Nunn lives in High Point with her husband, Stuart and their two children, Jane and Stuart III. Dr. Nunn is an avid athlete and enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with her family and close friends.
Wendy Koontz, Certified Dental Assistant II
Wendy graduated from Guilford Technical Community College in 1997 with a degree in Dental Assisting. As a team member for more than 19 years her gentle, caring concern for your well-being will certainly make your dental visits more comfortable and enjoyable. She is Dr. Nunn’s “right arm” in creating sensational smiles for our patients. If you have any questions about your dental care or treatment, Wendy is always there to answer your questions and set your mind at ease. In 2014 Wendy became Certified in Digital Dentistry with E4D Cad Cam Scanning System. She is a Certified Restoraspa Therapist, offering a “softer side of dentistry,” helping to reduce anxiety and bring about a state of relaxation during your restorative appointments. Outside the office, Wendy enjoys spending time with her friends and family and keeping up with her children Emery and Reese. She loves crafting and decorating.
Joal Morgan, Registered Dental Hygienist
Joal graduated from Northampton Community College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in 1997. She currently holds hygiene licenses in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and North Carolina. Although she was born and raised in Pennsylvania, Joal now calls High Point, North Carolina home. As a team member for 15 years, Joal’s comprehensive approach is of the utmost importance in the quality of care that Joal provides for every patient. Joal likes to share with her patients the importance of periodontal health in relation to their overall health. She educates them on continuing homecare, individual periodontal conditions, and treatment plans to bring them optimal oral health. Outside of the office, Joal enjoys exercising, traveling and spending time with her son Jaxson, and close friends.
Amy Brown, Registered Dental Hygienist and Dental Assistant
Amy Brown graduated from Guilford Technical Community College in 2006 and has been part of our team since graduation. Amy absolutely loves establishing relationships and connections with each patient that she takes care of. It is important to her that each patient feel as comfortable as possible the moment they step into our office. She plays a dual role within our team as a Dental Assistant in the morning and then taking care of her Dental Hygiene patients each afternoon. In 2014 Amy became Certified in Digital Dentistry with E4D Cad Cam Scanning system. In 2015 she became both a Certified OraSpa and RestoraSpa Therapist. After hours, Amy enjoys to spend quality time with her husband, Kevin and their two daughters Madeline and Stella.
Renee Domina, Certified Dental Assistant II, Financial Coordinator
Renee, raised in Greensboro, North Carolina, brings over 20 years of dental experience to our team. She was a previous chair side assistant and has been part of our team for 10 years. Renee has dedicated her latter years in dentistry to communicating treatment options, working closely with insurance providers and financial institutes that support our patient’s financial needs. If you have a special problem, Renee will work closely with you to help you get a healthy mouth and the “smile of your dreams.” Renee enjoys reading and spending her free time with her two boys, Davis and Cameron.
Kim Cranford, Administrative Coordinator
Kim is our practice concierge. When you walk through the door, Kim is often the first person you meet. By creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk through the door, Kim helps to help make your dental experience the best possible. Our patients appreciate her charismatic personality and positive attitude. Kim enjoys helping our patients achieve the smile that they have always dreamed of having. In her spare time Kim enjoys reading, gardening and spending time at the beach.
